Banana Bread Recipe…



What makes this recipe not only super yummy but also healthy?

Every ingredient in this recipe is healthy, but what really gets me excited personally, is the honey and the almond flour.

First of all, we have honey instead of artificial sweetners and over-processed or factory made sugar. Honey contains vitamin B6, calcium, copper, iron, and zinc just to name a few. It’s good for your digestion, your immune system, it gives you energy, and has anti-aging benefits.

Then we have almond flour which has way less carbohydrates, way more protein and dietary fiber, and plenty of vitamins and minerals.

So here we go….


1/4 cup of honey

3 tbsp coconut oil

2 eggs

2 very ripe bananas

3/4 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp salt

2 1/2 cups almond flour/almond meal

Optional: 1 cup chocolate chips, nuts, or dried fruit


Preheat oven to 315 degrees F

Mix all wet ingredients in a bowl until well blended

Add dry ingredients, mix well again

Bake for 45 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean from the middle

Then make sure it cools down before you cut it up!
