Don’t like to eat breakfast but know it’s the most important meal of the day?


I don’t know about you, but I don’t like to eat breakfast.  This is something I’ve struggled with
because I know it’s important to jump start your metabolism when you wake up.  I also
know that I can eat more during the day because I’m burning more calories, as compared
to at night, when metabolism tends to slow down.  Luckily, I solved this issue by figuring out
some good things to eat when I wake up!  The following is a list of my top 5 meals I like to eat
in the morning that jump start my metabolism and that also keep me hungry for the rest of the day
so I don’t eat at night!

1. Fresh or frozen Blueberries with honey and a piece of Fiber bread that has lots of seeds.  A glass of hot chai tea
with organic soymilk.
2. A raisin walnut Cliff Bar with a glass of rice milk ( I choose organic with added vitamins).
3. Three egg whites from hard boiled eggs, an apple with one teaspoon almond butter, and a glass of juice (your choice) that does not have any added sugar.
4. A bowl of organic non GMO certified Kashi cereal of your choice, an organic banana (they’re 40 cents more per pound than
non-organic ones), and a piece of raisin toast with organic butter melted over it.
5. A peanut butter and jelly (organic non gmo) sandwich on fiber seed bread with a banana and a glass of organic soymilk.

You can also program your mind before you go to bed with thoughts of hunger when you wake up. This has helped me
quite a bit so that when I wake up, I’m actually looking forward to eating!  And by the way, eating organic is not much more
than not eating organic.  In fact, in some cases, it’s cheaper or the same price, depending on where you shop and if
you spend time finding a coupon to use online!
